I build your new website first and put it on your phone. You ask for changes, and you pay only if you love it.

Every screen is a real screenshot of the old site and the new one. Drag any of them to compare.

The old WordPress site, as the Internet Archive saved it in February 2025. The archive lost part of its styling.
I give your current site a health check and send you a short write-up: what's working, what needs fixing, and a high-level picture of what I'd do about it. It's yours to keep, with no obligation.
No pitch meetings or mockups. If the web check makes you want more, I build the real thing and you decide.
A health check of your current site and a short write-up of what I'd change. Yours to keep.
I build your new site with your words and photos, around the booking or ordering tool you already use. Your current site stays up the whole time.
Show it to your staff, click everything, tell me what to change. Three rounds of edits are included.
Approve it and I take it live, then send the invoice. The domain and the files are yours.
I build your new site before you pay anything. You look at it, you change what you want, and only if you approve it do I take it live and send the invoice. If you don't want it, there's no bill and no hard feelings.
The full terms, including what you own and what happens if you leave, are on one page: the deal, in writing.
Prices depend on two things: how big your site is, and how much work it needs. Every price is for the finished site, approved by you and live on your domain.
| Size of site | RefreshYour current site, fixed and modernized | RebuildNew design and structure, built from scratch |
|---|---|---|
| Small1 to 3 pages | from $1,500 | from $2,500 |
| Medium4 to 8 pages | from $3,000 | from $5,000 |
| Large9 or more pages, or a catalog, booking or member area | from $5,500 | from $8,000 |
Refresh keeps your pages and structure. I make it fast and easy to read on a phone, fix what's broken, update the photos and details, and tidy it up so it looks current.
Rebuild starts fresh. New design and page structure, your words rewritten where they need it, photos organized, booking or ordering connected, and old links kept working so Google doesn't lose you.
Most extras run $500 to $2,000.
Your exact price is in writing before I start, and the web check tells you which row and column you're in. Nothing is billed until you approve the finished site.
Care plan, optional: $125 to $250 a month for hosting, updates to your hours, menu or schedule, a check-up every quarter and one small improvement each quarter. Cancel any time and the site stays yours.
For the first three local businesses this season, a Rebuild is priced as a Refresh.
Aloha, I'm Mike. My family and I live in West Maui, and I've been building websites for more than a decade.
I built my first sites for businesses I started myself, then for friends and local businesses who asked. Lately I've gone deep on what makes a site feel high end and actually work: fast on a phone with one bar of signal, easy to book or order from, and found on Google by the people looking for you.
I keep the studio small on purpose. You deal with me from the web check to the day your site goes live, and your money stays in the islands. If someone sent you here, mahalo. That's my favorite way to meet new clients.

A health check of your current site: how fast it loads on a phone, how it looks and reads there, how you show up on Google, broken links and images, security basics, and how easy it is to book, order or get in touch. You get a short write-up of what works, what needs fixing, and a high-level picture of what I'd do. It's yours to keep.
Yes. If the web check makes you want to see more, I build a sample of your new site so you can try it on your phone. It's a bigger step, so it comes after the web check, once you're seriously considering a new site. You only pay if you approve the finished site.
No. If you already use FareHarbor, Toast, Square, Clover, Jane, Momence or something like them, I keep it and build the site around it.
You do. The domain is in your name and you get the files. If you ever leave, everything goes with you.
Then you don't pay. You keep the web check, and we part as friends.
It depends on the size of the site and how quickly I get your photos and details. We'll talk about timing before I start, and nothing goes live until you approve it.
One list of changes from you and one updated version from me. Three rounds are included. Bigger changes after you approve the site are quoted before I do them, never after.
Yes. Nothing changes for your customers until you approve the new site and I take it live.
I'm based in West Maui and I'll come to you anywhere on Maui. Everywhere else, in Hawaiʻi or beyond, we meet on a video call and I send the site to your phone the same way.
Tell me where to look. I'll check your site and send you the write-up personally. No obligation and no sales calls.
